Description
Mother's Day glamping at its best! Families and individuals are welcome in this fun-for-everyone overnight trip. Head to Canoe Island with Friends of the San Jauns. Canoe Island French Camp (CIFC) staff will lead the way with fun and family-friendly activities. Enjoy the company of your neighbors while learning about island and coastal ecology from Friends of the San Juans staff. Here are but a few of the camp offerings:
- kayaking
- heated pool
- archery or ax throwing
- guided hikes
- fabulous French food
- sunset canoe excursions
Accommodations:
Glampers stay in tents with wooden decks and electricity, each with 6 bunks.
Food:
All meals are included—fabulous french cuisine made onsite! Mealtimes in the dining hall from Saturday lunch through Sunday lunch are wonderful opportunities to connect with your fellow islanders.
Getting there:
On Saturday morning, pick-ups are provided from each ferry-served island (Lopez, Shaw, Orcas, and San Juan). Drop off is between 3-4 pm on Sunday.
Cost:
$100 for adults, $80 for children.

- Transportation to and from Canoe Island from your ferry-serviced island of choice.
