Explore Sucia Island with Friends (leaving from & returning to Orcas)

Join Friends of the San Juans for a family-friendly day-trip to Sucia Island — Tina Whitman, Friends' Science Director, will lead the trip and tell you about the fascinating natural history and shoreline ecology of Sucia Island, as well as our Mud Bay Wetland and Beach Restoration site. You'll also get some time to explore the island on your own — bring a bagged lunch, water, and sunscreen, and enjoy the scenery!

Note this trip leaves from and returns to Orcas Island. 

Monday, August 22nd
9:45 — Check-In at Brandt's Landing Marina on Orcas
10 am — Leave Orcas Island
3 pm — Leave Sucia Island
3:30 pm — Arrive at Orcas Island
