Why Eelgrass?
Eelgrass is an unsung hero of the Salish Sea—sheltering marine life, stabilizing shorelines, and sustaining endangered species like the Southern Resident killer whales. Yet, it is disappearing at an alarming rate. This mural will not only beautify our community but also raise awareness about protecting this critical habitat.
