It takes a village to support Canoe Journeys! Help support this annual Indigenous paddle through the islands—join the shore-based ceremonies or volunteer for the potluck.

Friends of the San Juans is hosting the community potluck after the landing on the first night. We will be serving up a delicious seafood boil and asking community members to bring a side dish or beverages to share.

Side Dish options needed from the community:

  • Bread
  • Salad
  • Your favorite side dish (veggies, casserole, pasta, etc.)
  • Beverages (bubbly water, juice, etc.)

Please note that this is a non-alcoholic event.

Beyond the potluck, donations are needed to support the full Canoe Journey, and Friends of the San Juans is a proud fiscal sponsor of the Gathering of the Eagles. Tax-deductible donations can be made here. 100% of the proceeds support event needs such as food, camping, and the always-vital port-a-potties.
