San Juan County is updating its Comprehensive Plan and adding a Climate Element for the first time. This is your chance to weigh in on local climate policy & action and help shape policies that will impact our islands for years to come. We need all voices to contribute to our Comp Plan processes. This fundamental belief was what Friends of the San Juans was founded on—island residents coming together to inform our future through the comp plan process. We continue now, 45 years later, so that we can plan for the next 45 years thoughtfully in our protection of the islands and our island communities.
