Shore Friendly Contractor Workshop

Join Friends of the San Juans, Northwest Straits Foundation, Peninsula Environmental staff and local experts on Friday, January 17 from 8:30am to 2:15pm for a FREE workshop for landscape professionals, arborists, drainage specialists, excavation services, and contractors working on marine shoreline properties.

International Society of Arboriculture Continuing Education credits (CEUs) will be available for qualified professionals. Lunch will be provided. Stipends are available to those who qualify.

- Local Geology, Ecology, and Vegetation
- Understanding Shoreline Armoring
- Pruning, Planting, and Weed Control
- Local Rules and Permitting
- Hydrology and Bluff Drainage Solutions
- Cultural Resources
