Join us for a Pizza Party Friend-Raiser at our board member, Ken Burtness' home. Bring a friend to learn more about our work and ways you can protect our shorelines and the Southern Resident Killer Whale (SRKW). Please bring your favorite pizza topping. Drinks, pizza basics (dough, cheese and sauce) provided.

• Hear about Governor Inslee’s SRKW Task Force and how you can get involved.
• Discuss the ways we can help SRKW and salmon right here in San Juan County through public hearings on the Shoreline Master Program and the Lopez Village Sub Area Plan: Friday, September 21 on Lopez (see below for more detail).
• Celebrate the win for the protection of SRKW and the right for First Nations consultation in the fight against the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion and increase in tanker traffic.
